You realise it's almost Christmas?

I do and at the same time I don't! It's cuz I'm working tomorrow that I don't really feel at Christmas eve and probably because it's raining eh? Yeah, it started to rain around 1 Pm today and it's been pouring since then. Yuck!!! I hope it's best tomorrow, this girl's gotta get to work eh? I'm almost ready for tomorrow, I'll pack a bag to change while at work, eat lunch and an early dinner because I'll be involved in the Christmas mass from 17h30 to after the mass 20h00. So no time to go out to eat after work, so I'll eat a wrap before I leave.

Mr.Cat's being a good boy, he hasn't kicked my Christmas tree out, I'm shocked. He's behaving himself or as TFB would say "He's making association" he's not thinking. Mr.Cat is very intelligent, he's a super cat, believe it or not... So, the Christmas decoration is staying up.

I need to get ready to sleep, tomorrow I'll take a bag with a book, food, makeup, change of clothes, Christmas cards... and get this day over with.

Well, it's done!

I'm updating a little late, I know. I did all my Christmas shopping yesterday from 11h00 AM to 14h30, people at the mall were kinda insane, impatient, aggressive. Line were long and odd! I managed everything, stopped to get a bra fitting (which by itself was AN experience ), bought prezzies (lots of 'em), ate a bit, bought things for ME. I was able to get home and finish my stuff, went to the practice for Christmas mass, and spent the evening with The Tall Friend and his family. I got home after 1h3o AM

Today? I got up, put up a little Christmas tree, with only lights on (colored ones), cleaned, moved the furniture in my living room and in my bedroom. I'm very happy with the results... I cooked some meatball recipe, baked some goodies and went to mass! I hadn't been in couple of weeks.

Anyway, I watched "What not to wear", my house's perfect, I'm resting and will be going to breakfast with TFB and SW tomorrow.

I'm working on Monday but will be off Tuesday and Wednesday. Anyone else working? What are your Christmas plans for those who celebrate? Is everyone done with their shopping? Any last minute thingies? Anyone alone ???

I just can't believe how great of an evening I've had. Went to the mall to pick up new Christmas cards after work, (Cute Friend dropped me there), got home at 18h15, ate, showered, RELAXED and wrote many Christmas cards, relaxed, watched TV and I'm now here.

I've gotta go shopping tomorrow and I have at 18h00, a practice for Christmas eve's mass.

I was soo freaking thrilled when my boss left without changing my day off, dude, that rocked! It was just a very busy week at work. I dunno, I'm gonna try to leave around 10 AM to be in bigger town around 11 AM (freaking public transportation) But I'll shop and get this over with!

I feel my heart is getting closer to the reason for the season! Ain't that great? Time for myself has helped tremendously. I'm feeling at peace, I'm feeling relaxed, I'm feeling focused.

Thirteen things I need to do if I want to get to christmas like everyone else...

1- Decorate the freaking apartment!!! DUH!!!, I'm not opposed, I just don't have the time.

2- Go shopping for Christmas gifts? I'll do that on Friday and Saturday, I'm suppose to be off on Friday, I'll start!!!

3- Finish writing my freaking Christmas cards!!!! I've started, I just need to finish them!

4- Get in Christmas mood!!! That's very much needed....

5- Get my heart at the right place... Christmas is about Jesus... My heart and day to day preoccupations are far from Him. I know it's sad... everything is soo fast, I need to get back closer to Him

6- Stop worrying, everything will be well...

7- Sleep late on weekends so I can get rested enough to maybe stay up late next week!

8- Did I mention breathe and relax???? drink a bit maybe???

9- I need to spend some quality time with friends, I need it... I miss them.... this weekend for sure!!!

10- Did I mention Christmas shopping? not lingerie shopping, for that, we all know I'm good eh Claudia???

11- Cooking a bit for the Holidays, I've been insanely baking tho....

12- Attend a religious service before mass on Christmas eve!!!!

13- If I wanna do all of this I need to chill, relax, do what I can do and let go of others!!!!!

Christmas is a time of Peace, Joy, it's to celebrate the miracle of Christ's birth. It's a time to get together with people we love... It's a time of reconciliation and this year, I'm the poster child for this.... Christmas is a happy time for many but it's a difficult for those in poverty, who are isolated, without a family.. That will spend Christmas eve and day all fucking alone!!! That breaks my heart!!!!

I wish we were able to organise something like this in my city/parish , do a Christmas eve luncheon for anyone, just those would be alone otherwise... In Bigger City, there's many of these evening organised...Soup kitchen etc are in charge of this... I have to hell that this year....

I'll go at the 7 PM mass, (TYP celebrates it), it will be done in a public place where over 2500 people can attend and it is always full. I'm going to be in charge of the kids as a Big Sheppard, the kids will be Shepperd's, because we are acting the birth of Jesus, with angels, Shepperd's and sheep's, a real baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph!!!! It's gonna be good!!!!

Thoughts on the day after a blizzard...

Let me preface by saying I hate cold weather, it's ridiculous... I'm talking about freezing your butt cold... Anyway, we had close to 22 inches of snow here in this blizzard! That's a hell lot of snow!!! School were closed this morning but public transportation were working well! I got to work at the same time I always do! Only thing is that I entered by another door, didn't wanted to freeze my ass in the parking lot. How was the storm for the states?

Christmas is coming, it's not funny, it's in a week, next Monday at this time will be Christmas's eve? What are your plans? Anyone working?? Vacations??? Anyone feeling in a Christmas mood? I have no decoration up, I need to shop, I need to get in a Christmas mood! I feel overwhelmed with work, absolutely swamped... :::whatever:::

What I did after work today is went to The Restaurant with my artist friend, we talked, it was fun! I like her company.

I'm sleepy, I need to rest... Oh and one of my pet peeve? The freaking Canadian $$$ is still very high! This is hurting the economy so bad! I cannot believe I've prayed so much that the Canadian $ would be higher than the American $, now this shit is hurting our economy, especially the manufacturing industry. Now, I'm praying for the dollar to go down again... sorry for those I'm pissing off. Sorry to be depressing...

Hey, it's december 17!!!! Yahoo!!!! It's Christmas in a week!!!!

Can't believe I haven't updated in so long....

Wow, that's insane eh? I have been busy.... Friday was crazy at work, I mean, totally insane, I was so happy when my boss let me go at 16h00, I could have danced!!!

I had my work party Saturday night, a dinner in an hotel with a reception afterward, it was fun. The food was great, people were nice (many of them I didn't know and still don't), I danced a lot and came back home a little before 1 AM. Company paid for cabs afterward, so I got home safely. I couldn't sleep when I got home so I emailed The Friendly Boss to tell him about my evening.... I know this going to maybe surprise you but I'm not a very social person. It took me a lot to get my ass to this big party. I don't like things with so many people... It scares me a bit but I'm glad I did go! We had tons of fun....

Saturday I cooked, cleaned, did laundry, made freaking biscottis, cooked, cleaned... And today? I got up late, wrote down few Christmas cards, finished dipping biscottis in chocolate, cooked again...

I am a perfect housewife ya know? I'm just a rebellious one... I need to have a guy who'll be my dear friend before being my SO (significant other), so if he's a friend and I love him, trust him. I'll open up and let myself be vulnerable and spoil him. I'm a very happy go lucky type of girl, open, caring, I like to "take care"... The problem comes when there's sex physical intimacy, it complicates everything... I guess that's why I'm celibate at the moment eh? WTH tho??? Am I the only one???

This afternoon, I called The Tall Friend (TTF) to say hello and I learned that he injured himself (knee), so that sucks. So his Cute Wife and I went for a coffee this evening. I left the house without makeup on, yeah, absofuckinlutely, I don't ever do this. I need foundation and pressed power to even out my skin, but whatever, there's a blizzard here so fuck my look!

We had a nice time and chatted for 3 hours and I gave her 2 bags of biscottis, one for her and the kids and one for TTF. Because, he's in pain! What helps more than homemade treats?

Anyway, this week should go fast, I have Friday off and I need to do Christmas shopping, I'm suppose to go to the movies and finish up everything....

The freaking blizzard is still on, it's snowing like crazy!!! I hope the roads will be ok in the morning cuz this girl needs to be at work for 8 AM. Public transportation is usually very reliable!!! This girl needs to get her butt in bed because 5h45 AM will come fast ya know!!!

Yeah, I am... I made the choice tho. Something came up, I was asked and decided that I'm professional enough to know when I need to be at work and when I can take a day off without feeling guilty. I would have had felt guilty because my presence is important and you know what? It's totally something I feel comfortable with, I love the company I work for.

We received a lot of news today also, good ones, changes that will take place in 2008. It was a long but good day.

Anyway, tomorrow is freaking Friday!!! That's absolutely magnificent!!! I can't believe it!

I called The Friendly Boss tonight to chat, I wanted to tell someone about my day, I wanted to tell someone all the details about the job, changes, blah blah blah. This guy knows me very well and I can tell him anything and everything, so that's what I called. It's very nice to have someone you can share with and who can advise you if it's needed, that's very helpful to me... There is something about talking that brings a feeling of freedom, you know what I mean?

That's my day, I still need to do many thing and would just like to be in bed. I'd like to make biscottis to bring at work (they almost ate 'em all) but fuck, I'm too tired!

Guts VS balls...

We've all heard about people having guts or balls. But do you really know the difference between them? In an effort to keep you informed, the definition for each is listed below.
