Uggh!!! cooking and cleaning...

Have I ever told y'all how much I hate cooking? Well I'm a good cook but it's freaking long. I've been cooking ALL afternoon, to pack healthy and yummy lunch for the week.

I came back home around 3h40 AM, yeah friends came late. Slept until, hmm 10h30 when the phone rang and TYP offered to go grocery shopping with me. I hurried up to get myself ready and off we went. I bought a lot of whole food and I made homemade chicken soup, tuna casserole, roasted chicken, 2 type fo stir fry and rice. This is all going to be yummy. The soup's seems very very good. Dinner will be great but I still hate to cook. My future husband better be a good cook because I ain't going to be cooking all the time. Yeah I know, I should find him and we'll talk after huh? And because I'm so freaking anal about keeping everything organised, I'm doing the dishes right away. I hate to have to clean a big mess.

So yeah, I'm cooking, doing laundry, cleaning, getting ready for my new job!!!!

Tomorrow, TFB and I will be at The Church for the last day of cruise ships (this season). I'm sure SW will join us It's going to be a long day but with good people, time flies.

Enjoying life...

Yeah, that's what I'm doing and also trying to finish everything before Monday because i won't have much free time. I finished installing the windows insulation kit this morning. All windows are done.

No one replied to my request for a boyfriend, so the hell with all of it, I did it myself and even took the garbage out. TFB and I did laugh wed night when he said that if someone replied and said they were interested , they'd be pathetic and kinda creepy. Like a man who posted an add for "a girlfriend to cook him dinner and do the laundry, nothing else, no sex, nothing" would get one... We giggle thinking about this.

I went to get books at the public library this afternoon and I'm watching my friend's kids tonight. I love the monkeys... So I'm going to play auntie tonight, the monkeys warm my heart, they are adorable, both of them. :::heart:::

Tomorrow? Grocery shopping and cooking, dis is crazy. Big Multinational Company has a place for the employee to eat, microwave but no cafeteria or machines, so it's bring your own lunch and it's not close to anything, you can't just run to the store so I'll cook lunch and freeze the for each lunch and buy yogurts, apple sauce snack. Anyway, tomorrow is food shopping and food preparation and Sunday is the last cruise ship in town. TFB, SW and I will be there ALL day.

I'm doing good, still very very happy about everything, I can't wait for Monday!!!

13 things I bought in the last week...

It's another week that I have to do my TT on a hurry. Time flies for sure. I'll do it on things I have bought in the past week. I sure did spend a lot of money, it's insane but with the new job, getting everything ready, I had to. But whatever, sorry for such consumerism, I'm usually not much of a spender (well not that bad).

1. A MacBook, I bought the 13 inches 2.0GHz. I got it this afternoon, I researched it yesterday, called this morning but I had doubts, but this morning I told The Friendly Boss (TFB) about my project and it confirmed me in what I wanted, what I needed. I kinda needed some type of paternal approval. I got the 3 year warranty, so with the apple 1 year it gives me 4 years of warranty.

2. Clothes... For the new job that starts on Monday.

3. A window Insulation kit. Similar to this one, for my patio door and a kit for the other windows. This thing has cut my electric bill for the past 2 winter.

4. Candles... I love to have scented candles...

5. Cat food... Mr.Cat has to eat ya know!

6. Greeting cards for my friend's kids and a "Thank You" card.

7. I got sexy panties again yesterday... It's claudia's fault!!!

I feel a bit ashamed after seeing my list. I will refrain from spending money in the next week, I have everything I need. Have you had to buy a lot of things/clothes when you got a new job? Anyone have wisdom to share about any of the things on my list?

Shopping spree stories...

I am insane, I went shopping for more "career" orientated clothes. I lost my mind this afternoon I think.

It's SW's fault!! Nah, I'm kidding, it's because I spoke to her this morning and wanted maybe to visit them but they had stuff to do which is fine, so I decided to go shop for clothes, for the job. I enjoy shopping, I love it, I didn't need anyone to twist my arm.

Went to my favorite store, bought 3 tops ( 2 blouse, 1 3/4 sleeve, 1 long sleeve and 1 awesome cashmere sweater) and 2 dress pants (black, dark brown), 3 pairs of socks and a pair of tights. Bought Clinique Makeup shouldn't I deserve samples and free stuff because I give them free advertisement? A fake pearl necklace. And Oh. My. Gosh. the sweetest winter scarf with the matching mittens. Got some crap at walmart because ya know, is it a trip if you don't end up buying crap at walmart? Nah, didn't think so.

I have to be at The Parish's office tomorrow morning, they are going to do a little "goodbye party" for me. I have to pretend not to know because our coordinator called with a fake reason. She invited me to celebrate someone's birthday but she doesn't know I'm aware it was celebrated 2 weeks ago. I told The Friendly Boss (TFB) tonight that I knew they were doing this and we decided that I wouldn't ruin the surprise so I'll pretend. I think it's very sweet that they're doing it. TFB will pick me up in the morning and drop me at the corner and I'll walk the block left to be at the office. He's sweet to pick me up. And I have an appointment with my hairdresser. That's cool eh?

I stopped at The Church for the 16h00 mass, took time to pray and thank Him for everything good. I thought of Vixen's job interview while at church. It had been a long time for me to go at a weekday mass. I was glad I went.

I'm on the process of putting my "windows insulation kit". One window done, 4 left. It's one of the few time I wish I had a boyfriend to do the job, that and the garbage.Anyone interested in a sexless relationship? You'll take the garbage out, install the electric thingy and put the window insulation kit on the fucking windows.Like I said, that's it. I'm not available for more.I know, I know, that's why I'm the SOL who is doing all of it. I could ask many guys to do it, like TFB, AF, TTF, TYP or even The Seminarian but I am able to do it, so I do it.

So as I'm watching Law and Order SVU, I'm posting this. I think that's all for now. Whacha up to?

Soo excited that I can't sleep...

Yup, roll your eyes all you want, all you can. I can't freaking sleep, I'm way too happy. I'm over thinking this because my brain can't shut down. Jeez, I just put water in the thingy to make myself a herbal tea to relax.

I was in bed tossing and turning! But I know I've got every right to be that happy. This changes everything, this job offers stability, long-term, not temporary, not as long as we can scrape money, no, this changes everything.

The "good night" tea is infusing in my mug as we speak. Hopefully this will calm me down and help me sleep. God, I'm so happy, thank you, thank you, thank you. Tomorrow, if it works with them, I'll go by TFB and SW's house, I'll show them my contract, chat and enjoy this happiness with people who've helped me tremendously for a long time.

Totally off/topic but I learned today that fishy died on Saturday, I think he just never recuperated from the lack of oxygen. Sucks that I was a part of what led to his death huh Poor fishy, poor friend who took him. Just wanted to let you guys know the news. Spiderman is doing well, happy, alive, being taken care by his new family. SW isn't a fish killer!

More thoughts and rambling on the job!!!

I'm incredibly happy, my heart has wings I swear. That's how I feel. It's an amazing feeling. I signed my contract at 16h00 and I start on Monday.

I've spoken with everyone, each friend that has been supportive, loving, present. I'm just very thankful and appreciative of the new opportunity and I'll do well. I'm beside myself with joy, it's unbelievable. If I didn't refrain, I'd be jumping with joy everywhere. How freaking cool is that?

Bear with me, I'm just happy, content, joyful, thrilled, thankful. The social benefits are absolutely incredible!!! My God, thank you, thank you, thank you. I haven't ate much because I'm on the adrenaline rush, I don't know if I'll sleep well cuz I'm excited but my heart has wings... But I'm delighted, happy, life is fucking amazing!!!!

I've got the job!!!

Got the phone call around 13h20, I've got the job!!!! Big Multinational Company has hired me!!!!

I'm going there at 16h00 to sign the papers, I'm so fucking excited, it's unbelievable. I told my artist friend, got a hold of SW on her cellphone (she was incredibly excited, as in cheering), she'll tell TFB.
