It's another week that I have to do my TT on a hurry. Time flies for sure. I'll do it on things I have bought in the past week. I sure did spend a lot of money, it's insane but with the new job, getting everything ready, I had to. But whatever, sorry for such consumerism, I'm usually not much of a spender (well not that bad).
1. A MacBook, I bought the 13 inches 2.0GHz. I got it this afternoon, I researched it yesterday, called this morning but I had doubts, but this morning I told The Friendly Boss (TFB) about my project and it confirmed me in what I wanted, what I needed. I kinda needed some type of paternal approval.
I got the 3 year warranty, so with the apple 1 year it gives me 4 years of warranty.2. Clothes... For the new job that starts on Monday.
3. A window Insulation kit. Similar to this one, for my patio door and a kit for the other windows. This thing has cut my electric bill for the past 2 winter.
4. Candles... I love to have scented candles...
5. Cat food... Mr.Cat has to eat ya know!
6. Greeting cards for my friend's kids and a "Thank You" card.
7. I got sexy panties again yesterday... It's claudia's fault!!!
8. Motrin IB
9. Grocery food; Because ya know, a girl has to eat eh?....
10. A scarf and mittens ... they are soo freaking soft to touch.
11. Clinique Makeup
12. Herbal tea
13. A movie theater ticket. I went to see "Michael Clayton" last Friday with a friend. George Clooney was so freaking hot!!!.

I feel a bit ashamed after seeing my list.
I will refrain from spending money in the next week, I have everything I need. Have you had to buy a lot of things/clothes when you got a new job? Anyone have wisdom to share about any of the things on my list?

Great list...im not into grocery shopping, or spending money there because I always spend too much, but we do have to eat:) Happy TT.

It must have been a week for shopping -- I spent way too much last week. I don't know what happened -- autumn? Halloween? Altho I started a new job too, so I figured it was all justified! Hope you are enjoying all your purchases!

Wonderful list. I love to make herbal teas and I make my own candles too. Lots of fun. But I do have to buy my own sexy lingerie. Unless I can talk the were-bear into forking over his Visa card. LOL

I hear ya on the cat food -- with a sick kitty, I've been buying lots of extra wet cat food and cat treats to act as reward for taking medications! I'm happy to say he's better -- I'm so relieved. :)

A new job is as good excuse as any to buy new clothes. ;-) Btw, I am drooling over your #1 purchase. I'm trying to persuade Dh to get a new one at Christmas. One can hope, right?

I haven't had a new job in years, at least one in which my wardrobe had to change. But we're going to Yellowstone this winter, and I've been buying all sorts of impossibly warm clothes (including boots that are rated for -45 degrees!). I've been buying them all on sale, but still...
It adds up and, like you, I squirm.

Oh, I really want a Mac notebook!! My laptop sort of died in the sense that it rolled over and tried to recreate the the Paul Rueben's death scene from the buffy the vampire slayer movie. All "ooh, aah, oww, I'm dead." It was very sad and pathetic. Anyway, enjoy yours.

I say, if you can afford to shop for new clothes for a new job then go for it! I'll be starting a new one myself in November and am hoping to afford a couple new things myself. I've been kind of crazy about buying things to decorate my new apartment lately. I obsessively check craigslist to see if there's anything I can get for cheap to dress up. And candles? Oh candles are a necessity so don't even worry about that. ;)
