I hate mondays... am I alone?

Every freaking Monday reality hits me in the face "crap, the week started again", weekend should be longer.

To make it worse, the coffee machine was still broke at work. (in my department) That alone almost drove me to the edge! I get my boiling water from the machine, I bring my own instant coffee (because 6 coffee a day would be 3$ and that alone would be 15$ a week, hell no!!!) I mean how unfair for us to live without coffee and boiling water. The machine in the cafeteria is awful... I bought one but it's like worse that cheap ass instant coffee, imagine your dirty socks infusing all day? well coffee in the cafeteria is worse than that. I'm just kidding, it's not that bad.

The repair guy came around 14h00, I wave to him "you are my hero!!!" he open his eyes and starts to tell me he doesn't know how to restart the machine oh for fuck's sake, why are you here??? Shouldn't you know how to do that, isn't that your job? Oh, I'm sure there's someone you can call do I tell him and he proceeds to call on his cell phone. It's not working he tells me... "I know, it's impossible to get a signal here, it's because of the walls, you're going to have to use our phone or go outside... An hour later he comes in my office and tells me the machine should work in a matter of 15 minutes. Boy, were we all happy!!!

So , I'm sure you already have guessed that I'm in my jammies, on the couch, getting ready for bed. I've got a long day ahead of me tomorrow, a church council meeting in the evening and a long day ahead of me tomorrow.

I'm actually feeling better, I've had a rough couple of days for many reasons... It's gettin' better, It always does. I wish I could put my kindness aside and translate for you a text from the parish bulletin from this Sunday , I told TFB tonight "I makin' fun of the text with you but I wouldn't dare put it on my blog! I'd probably get purgatory days for it!!! I'm not posting it but I'd be funny, lets keep it at that.

The weekend is over eh?

When you look at the clock on a Sunday night and realise it's 19h00, it's shocking because it means the weekend is almost over eh? Uh no!!! I want a longer weekend, I wish I controlled time. Don't we all?

This girl actually went to mass last night? Yup, I did! I lite a candle (cost me 4$ ) but that was my outing of the weekend. I did not do anything else other than going to the public library... I was suppose to go out for dinner tonight but it was cancelled.

I'm anti-social, I'm looking forward for weekends to just rest, relax and not see a lot of people. Maybe I'm depressed? Anyway, that's my short update, Mr.Cat and I are alive and well, I'm reading a book called "Company man" and it's very good!!!

How was your weekend? Anyone with so little to describe? I mean how strange it is??? I enjoy time in my jammies!!!! Big plans for the week? I have a church council meeting on tuesday, that's about it for the moment.

It's finally Friday, I just wanted to let you know and those who left me comments that I'll visit that I'll do it tonight and tomorrow. I was sick yesterday, I had bad reflux all day, puked a few times ... I know TMI, I hanged in there and finished my day at work. Even went to the hairdresser after work but when I got home, I took Nexium right away, took a long bath and went to bed. It was 20h00!

I need to just finish the day, take myself to the mall at Bigger City, grocery shop and get home and relax the whole weekend.

So don't worry, I'm not going to die!!!

An update AKA I'm too lazy to blog....

Hey guys, I'm finally updating. I've been too lazy, too tired, too busy to post an update. You know, when you don't take time to stop and sit down, it makes it more difficult to update eh?


I worked Thursday and Friday, which was okay. I wasn't swamped with work but I kept myself occupied, I had a party/dinner on Friday night, it was really fun, food was good, friends were great, we danced and laugh a lot.

And yesterday, jeez, I was in charge of keeping TTF busy in the afternoon to keep him away from his home because we were doing a surprise party for his birthday, so TFB and I kept him busy doing stuff for the parish. move boxes, item, physical work that I had to do also. But I had to make up stuff to keep him with me and he thought I was insane but I had a good excuse and he didn't know there was going to be a party! And he knows I'm not a needy, insane girl... The party was fun, many people, great food, he deserved it because he's great. I got home after 2h30 AM, that was very very late. I slept until 11h30.

I'm in my jammies, I am slowly getting ready to work tomorrow...I wish I could stay in my pajamas but whatever... I'll be working but I'm whining for no good reasons, I have Tuesday and Wednesday off. Can you believe it's going to be the year 2008 in a few hours???

Thirteen random things....

1. I could sleep late tomorrow morning if I didn't have to work...

2. I could stay up late tonight and watch TV and relax if I didn't have to work tomorrow and Friday.

3. I'd do a "stay in your jammies" day on Thursday and on Friday....

4. I could hang with friends who are lucky enough to be in vacations.

5. I'd watch again Schindler's list and cry like a fucking baby. I did watch it last night and I was hysterical, in tears, weeping like a baby.... This movie keeps me going, it kicks my ass and pushes me to look forward and to remember that hope and courage are fuel for happiness and that nothing can't be survived and when there's a will, THERE IS A WAY!

6. I'm gonna have lunch with the girls at work, 99% of the time I eat lunch in our conference room with the others people in my department but I'm gonna join the girls tomorrow. I think we are going to be 6 or 7 tomorrow, not more than that so we'll get together.

7. On Friday, a co-worker and I have already decided to eat at a Nice Restaurant for lunch. That's going to be fun!!!! I'm slowly making friends, knowing more people and getting along with people outside of my team. It's not easy to get to know people you don't work with closely but it is soo worth it. I love my co-workers!!!!


8. On Friday night, I'm going to The Psych Nurse for dinner, a lot of us are getting together, a pot luck dinner and a party afterward. That'll be great!!!!

9. Saturday night, dinner to celebrate The Tall Friend's birthday. If any one's reading STFU about it, it's a surprise party.

10. On Christmas eve, we were at The Nurse's house, having a fun time and around 1 AM I asked her if there was some place I could lay down and believe it or not, I slept until 3 AM when TYP woke me up to leave. Dude, I was exhausted!!! I had gotten up around 5h45 that morning....

11. I bought chocolate today while out at Boxing Day and ate 6 pieces of it this evening! I'm soo going to gain weight!

12. I can't wait to get to the Store to use my gift card and buy clothes!!! Not that I need any now but ya know, a girl always needs clothes eh?

13. I bought a gift card this afternoon to give The Tall Friend for his birthday, he's celebrating a special one this year. I'm going to write him a text!!!!! Many of his friends will be there, he will be very happy and touched!!!

14. That one is because of Claudia, I think I'm going to go buy the second bra that I tried when I got fitted. I hope you kinda feel guilty hon because I'm addicted now!

Thoughts, pondering and questions about your Christmas...

I hope your Christmas was nice, I wish someone you spoke to, saw made you feel special on this day. I wish no one was alone today but if you were, I hope you felt the presence of God or of someone because Lord knows how difficult it is to be alone on Christmas.

My Christmas was great, I was with people I love, good friends, awesome friends, people I adore and I saw and spent quality time with my family. The best present was the presence of people I cherish with my whole heart and I did get some great "material" present too... A gift card to my favorite store (Yipee), the Schindler's list DVD movie, a mug set with cats on it, and some blank Cd's and cases but the most precious thing in my eyes is the love, presence of people and the amazing feeling of happiness, peace and being alive and healthy. How was yours? What did you do? What presents did you enjoy the most???

On this day, please have a thought for those who are sad, depressed, alone, who are abused, who are in jail, who are in countries where there's war. Have a thought for the homeless... Let's be thankful for what we have and if you can, do something to share the love... Adopt a family for the holidays, donate to a shelter, spent time visiting elder people... I'm trying to do these things because I am very lucky to live this happiness... I'm not trying to lecture anyone, just suggesting... If someone has other suggestion, let me know k?

This girl went to bed after 3h00 AM and woke up at 12h00 PM with the alarm... I'm slowly getting ready for the evening but jeez, it isn't easy... The mass was great, I was with the little kid playing in a live nativity, so it was great!!!! The kids were good to stay to hang in there and behave themselves for soo long.

You realise it's almost Christmas?

I do and at the same time I don't! It's cuz I'm working tomorrow that I don't really feel at Christmas eve and probably because it's raining eh? Yeah, it started to rain around 1 Pm today and it's been pouring since then. Yuck!!! I hope it's best tomorrow, this girl's gotta get to work eh? I'm almost ready for tomorrow, I'll pack a bag to change while at work, eat lunch and an early dinner because I'll be involved in the Christmas mass from 17h30 to after the mass 20h00. So no time to go out to eat after work, so I'll eat a wrap before I leave.

Mr.Cat's being a good boy, he hasn't kicked my Christmas tree out, I'm shocked. He's behaving himself or as TFB would say "He's making association" he's not thinking. Mr.Cat is very intelligent, he's a super cat, believe it or not... So, the Christmas decoration is staying up.

I need to get ready to sleep, tomorrow I'll take a bag with a book, food, makeup, change of clothes, Christmas cards... and get this day over with.

Merry Christmas to everyone, may it bring Joy, Happiness and Peace. This girl will enjoy reconciliation, peace and joy.

Well, it's done!

I'm updating a little late, I know. I did all my Christmas shopping yesterday from 11h00 AM to 14h30, people at the mall were kinda insane, impatient, aggressive. Line were long and odd! I managed everything, stopped to get a bra fitting (which by itself was AN experience ), bought prezzies (lots of 'em), ate a bit, bought things for ME. I was able to get home and finish my stuff, went to the practice for Christmas mass, and spent the evening with The Tall Friend and his family. I got home after 1h3o AM

Today? I got up, put up a little Christmas tree, with only lights on (colored ones), cleaned, moved the furniture in my living room and in my bedroom. I'm very happy with the results... I cooked some meatball recipe, baked some goodies and went to mass! I hadn't been in couple of weeks.

Anyway, I watched "What not to wear", my house's perfect, I'm resting and will be going to breakfast with TFB and SW tomorrow.

I'm working on Monday but will be off Tuesday and Wednesday. Anyone else working? What are your Christmas plans for those who celebrate? Is everyone done with their shopping? Any last minute thingies? Anyone alone ???

Dude, I'm off tomorrow!!!

I just can't believe how great of an evening I've had. Went to the mall to pick up new Christmas cards after work, (Cute Friend dropped me there), got home at 18h15, ate, showered, RELAXED and wrote many Christmas cards, relaxed, watched TV and I'm now here.

I've gotta go shopping tomorrow and I have at 18h00, a practice for Christmas eve's mass.

I was soo freaking thrilled when my boss left without changing my day off, dude, that rocked! It was just a very busy week at work. I dunno, I'm gonna try to leave around 10 AM to be in bigger town around 11 AM (freaking public transportation) But I'll shop and get this over with!

I feel my heart is getting closer to the reason for the season! Ain't that great? Time for myself has helped tremendously. I'm feeling at peace, I'm feeling relaxed, I'm feeling focused.
