Well, I did NOT sleep

But I closed my eyes and layed in the silence (Thank for for ear plugs) for close to 45 minutes. I was under my blanket, it was grand. mrgreen I'm not sleepy anymore, my energy's back!!!!

I just ate some hummus, a tortilla wrap and a tossed salad. I'm craving chocolate but my pouch stomach isn't. lol

Meeting tonight, I gotta start to get ready. I would soo stay inside my comfy home with M.PainInTheAss Cat. lol

Sometimes, just lying quietly in silence is as good as a nap. At least, it always helps me. I have terrible insomnia, but I learned years ago that fighting it made it worse. And that just lying down and resting restored my energy.

Jehara: Hummus was good but chocolate was a crappy cheap easter "chocolate" I ate a bit and was disgusted. I need some real chocolate.

I too suffer from insomnia -- and it seems to come and go with no rhyme or reason. It's not coffee or caffeine or eating late at night or stuff like that. I guess it's just my head!! But like Vixen said, don't fight it. Lay in the quiet, pray, meditate, listen to your breathing. I'm glad you finally got some sleep tho -- ! Take care and stay well!

Naps can be a good thing!! I dont take them that often, but when I do, its a nice little pick me up as long as I dont sleep to long. Im glad you feel rested and ready for your day!! Happy TT my friend. thanks for stopping by:)
