Currently listening to...

"Come as you are" sang by a French singer called Emilie Simon. You can watch the video here. I like her version better than Nirvana's that make me wanna shoot myself. No kidding, I was a Nirvana fan back in my teen days but for god's sake, the songs are soo depressing and dark.

Come
As you are
As you were
As I want you to be
As a friend
As a friend
As a known memory
Take your time
Hurry up
The choice is your
Dont be late
Take a rest
As a friend
As a known memory
Memory ah
Memory ah
Memory ah

Come
Doused in mud
Cept in bleach
As I want you to be
As a trend
A a friend
As a known memory ah
Memory ah
Memory ah
Memory ah

And I swear
That I dont have a gun
No I dont have a gun
No I dont have a gun

Memory ah
Memory ah
Memory ah
Memory ah {dont have a gun}

And I swear
That I dont have a gun
No I dont have a gun
No I dont have a gun
No I dont have a gun
No I dont have a gun

Anyone like the song? Did ya watch my link?

I went to The Church tonight because The Young Priest (TYP) was doing a presentation of his pilgrimage to the Holy Land. He got back like 8 days ago. The pictures and videos were very interesting... Close to 60 people attended the evening where he gaves us the stories of what he saw and where he visited.

He brought me back a bracelet made of Olive Wood with a beautiful cross that says Jerusalem on it. (He gave it to me last Monday, but I'm showing you now) What ya think? Isn't that pretty?

I took picture for Posterity's sake. mrgreen That is my hand.

I do like that version of the song better. I don't know about it being any less depressing though! That is a very pretty cross. I like it!

I'm glad you liked that version. I think Nirvana's beat is depressing for me. Maybe it's because I know what Kurt Kobain did? :::dunno:::

I'M glad you like the cross to!

Have a great day!

That's beautiful! The cross, I meant, but I like the song too. I have to admit that I liked the Nirvana version, though. Hey, when does school start? Are you getting excited?

I love the design of your blog! Nap Warden did my blog too. She is so darn creative! :)

The cross is gorgeous. It looks well made, too. Like something you'll keep forever. Maybe pass onto your own daughter some day.

BTW, Mr. Cat makes me smile every time I see him. Be sure to tell him I'm his biggest fan!

The Gal: I just told him, he look at me quite satisfied and content to know this. ;)

The bracelet is really cool, I'll keep it preciously and pass it on one day.
