13 pet peeves...

After a few weeks of break, here's my return...

Thirteen Things Pet Peeves

1…. Not Washing Hands After Using the Restroom.. (that seriously creeps me out)

2. Bad Service at a Restaurant ( WTF is up with that, who am I? Did you wanted a tip?)

3. Poor Driving Etiquette (Please, follow the freaking rules)

4. Hypocrites (self explanatory)

5. Getting “their” and “they’re”, or “you’re” and “your” mixed up. (please work on your grammar, it's AAF)

6. Qualifying offensive statements with: “No offence, but…."

7. People who withdraw money from the ATM, then take 5 minutes to count all the money, review their statement, put stuff back in their bag. MOVE OUT OF THE WAY.

8. People assuming that they know you when they don't.

9. People who spit in public (ewww what the hell???)

10. The saying "You've no need to worry if you're not doing anything wrong."

11. Mumbling, then saying "Forget it!" when people naturally don't hear.

12. People who think the whole world owes them.

13. People who smoke inside of the bus cabin. (Hello???)

I like your list and you definitely can sense your aggravation towards your pet peeves.
Hope you don't have to encounter these situations that often

What about who’s and whose, it’s and its?

People who get to the front of the line at supermarkets, and wait till the cashier rings up a total, and only then open their purses and start looking for coins, cards etc.

“No offense but…” means someone is about to be very offensive. Just like “May I make some constructive criticism?” always comes before an insult.

Great TT, my friend!

Happy TT. Hopefully you can avoid your pet peeves tomorrow.

We have a lot of four way stop signs around here and #3 really struck home with me. Didn't we learn how to take turns when we were five?

#2- I think there's a lack of work ethic going around throughout the world. It's your job, do it well. Nobody said you had to love it, we just want you to work.

Have a good day!

Yep, those are buggers...I am guilty of one...can you guess which;)

You know what else is really annoying? There's this person in my office who after she uses the bathroom, goes and presses the paper towel dispenser BEFORE washing her hands. Then she washes her hands and dries them. The first time I ever saw her do that, I just stared at her, appalled, and she was like, "What?". I now carry hand sanitizer with me wherever I go.

I really hate it when people don't use turn signals.

Welcome back to the Wide World of TTs! I am so with you on the mumblers who think it's MY fault I don't understand them. But my #1 pet peeve is women at the health club who take up the entire bench with their water bottles, iPods, towels, etc., so that I have to get dressed (what feels like) a block away from my locker.

The ex-copywriter in me totally agrees with the grammar issues... and that "not to be offensive" bit? COP OUT. Yes, you DO mean to be offensive, so don't lie.

I REALLY REALLY hate when people call and assume that you recognize their voice over the phone. This has become even more irritating with cell phones because of the static. I agree with all your peeves!

I agree with all of them!! Especially the drivers part: I can't stand "random braking" and we have a lot of it around here. Great list!

what about complainers? those people who are incessantly negative about everything? my new deskmate is this type and he is extremely verbal all the day. i wish i had a white noise machine or something to block out his glaring negativity vibes. and if you say anything positive to him he shuts you down. he always has a comeback (negative) for every positive suggestion. grrrr!

I'm pretty sure we have the same pet peeves. Oh, I could think up a few more, but these do pretty well for now. Especially the smokers at the bus terminal.

OK, don't judge me, but on occasion, when no one is looking...I have been known to spit. Don't hate me...

I get tons of comments on your blog look btw. People say, I love what you did for DoaFCCW...Can you do that for me?

NW: I don't hate you for spitting, I'm grossed out when creepy looking, old people do it. You are young, don't do it too often.

I'm glad you are receiving good comments about the design, I'm telling you, I love love it!!!! :)

You are fantastic!!!! :)

It's and interesting idea for a T-13 topic. Several would be high on MY list as well.
