Gee, your desk sounds clean compared to mine. I've got kids' homework, a cat or two, cups, iPods, CD's, books, dictionaries and several calendars to get myself organized, all of which are unused!!

I don't keep a lot on my desk, just a jar of pens and pencils and the computer equipment. All my stuff is on the shelves behind me---and my quote is from the Gospel of Philip.

Wow, I don't work outside the home, but I have all those things beside my desk as well. Except for #9. But replace that with a feather pencil in a mug and it's almost exactly alike :o)

Great list, my desk would sound a lot like it, but you'd have to add in checks (I work in accounting)
and today we can add numerous sheets of paper from the open files...
What that's all ? No book, magazines, ipod, food etc ?? Lol!

I know, I know, I need some food eh? LOL Books are in the book shelves, magazine are at home and the rest of my mess is hiding INSIDE of my desk's drawers. ;)

I. hate. file. folders. I have them, I use them, but only under great duress and I don't have them anywhere near my desk! (But I know I'm the exception) Fun TT!

I have to say my files are on my desk , but not technically as I have a cubby over my desk to (hide myself)store stuff.
Oh, how I miss USB internet cables... here I sit with dial up again - because I HAD to move to the country... just 2/10 of a mile too far to get DSL...
My desk is a mess... the item that most DOESN'T belong on it is... a wine glass from last night... I should really clean up this mess... maybe next week.
