I'm posting and running. This evening TTF gave me my first driver's lesson. I drove around for over 30 minutes, it was fun, instructive and easier than I thought and I wasn't scared.
I'm really happy and thrilled!!! It was something that we'll be doing again. ::big grin::

I'm a terrible driver, so perhaps you shouldn't heed my advice but here goes: I always remind myself that the other drivers don't want to be an accident, either. I figure if I work at avoiding one, and they work at avoiding one, there simply won't be one, right?

Driving IS easy. Just remember: Let the assholes go in front of you; it's easier to keep an eye on them that way.
