Guess who I just sent an email to?

I decided to send an email to my former boss at BMC, you know the one who bought me and my colleagues the book "Who moved my cheese". He's the head of the "Sales and Customer Services" department. I gave him a short/positive update on me, asking him about him and letting him know that I am still available and would happily join one of his team. anytime, anywhere. That's true. I enjoyed working with him and would be thrilled to do it again, anytime.mrgreen

I'll let you know if he replies. I highly doubt he has a job for me now, but just letting him know I'd be happy to work with him again. I guess it wouldn't be in our area and this would mean moving but let's not go there. I'm focusing on the positive! smile

Good for you. Nothing ventured, nothing gained is what I always tell the kids.

Happy Wednesday.

It's always smart to maintain connections. He may NEVER have a job for you again, but he may have a buddy at another company who has a job and guess who he'll recommend! Also, if you keep up, it will be easier for him to be an enthusiastic reference for you when you need him. So keep up the good work! (And thanks to you and the charming Mr. Cat for the hug on my blog.)

Vixen: You're right, it's the way I see it. :)

The Gal: Yeah, that's true and he'll remember me clearly and will have still information about me for references. Mr.Cat says "yer welcome my friend" XXX

Chikku, most of my bosses have been great to me. I am close friend with one of them. My friend that I call The Friendly Boss was my boss before being my friend. :)

I've had good experience , I'm lucky!!!!

I don't want a job now from him (altho I wouldn't mind) but I'm going to college soon but I wanted him to know that I'd be happy to work with him again, if he ever needs someone like me. :D

What the gal herself said. Never burn a bridge.

Hope you are doing great.

Your shirt's on the way.

(when I typed shirt at first, I typo'd, so it said 'shit' then I giggled because I am 12 years old...)
