Tales from the girl who got drunk last night...

And we can say that I was really drunk. lol My friends got together to celebrate the end of my contract at The Parish and my new job at Big Multinational Company. Soo many people that I love were there, you know when the best of the best get together? smile The dinner and party was at TFB and SW's house who btw wasn't trashed by drunk girl. except the speaker I kicked by accident downstairs who also bumped the freaking wall

We ate fondue with lots of side dish, drank good beer, wine and Porto... The evening was amazing and I was very happy. We laughed our ass off, talked about my blog and the things I would say or not say today. We commented on people's nickname. The Tall Friend doesn't think his nickname is original, I could have put more thoughts in finding one. lol TFB was hysterical when I told him how I had named "Annoying Liturgy Lady".... lol I was like "What, don't ya think the name fits her?" wink

I'm very happy about the party, our hostess is the best... Gosh, I love these people...

On another note, let it be known that Mr.Cat didn't sleep with me last night...I got up at 6h20 ish, the walls were kinda spinning... I realise I was naked, I got to the bathroom, washed my face because I was still wearing makeup, brushed my teeth, got stuff out of the bed and started to call Mr.Cat "where the hell are you Mr.Cat??? Aren't you going to sleep with mommy?" I could hear him think "if you think I'm gonna sleep with you when yer drunk and naked, forget it" lol

Anyway, he eventually came and cuddled, we slept until 9h20 ish... I made coffee, put jammies on (before making coffee) mrgreen, called TFB to let him know I was alive and well... Told him he now knows the reason why I don't go to bars to party, it's because I'm such a happy drunk and I'm lovey and would end up waking up with some strange dude the next day not that I've ever done it wink....

Anyway, I got a beautiful card, a frame with an amazing text from Passionate One ( she's an amazing writer) and they bought me a router.mrgreen But the best thing in my eyes was to be with them, have fun with them and have them in my life. That's the gift, having amazing people in our life is what makes the difference don't you think?

TFB, SW, their daughter and I are going for late breakfast around noon. smile They'll be picking me up... But luckily, I'm not drunk this morning!!!! lol

My head and stomach are fine, after eating a good breakfast I was totally back in shape. I have to say I won't be going to bed late tonight but I'm having flashsback of some "odd" topic I discussed last night...

They already love me so that's the positive part but I promised SW today that I won't be getting drunk at my office party!!!!

One of our friend whom I'll call the retiree went to mass this morning (TYP told me because I didn't went to church) and told TYP " I wonder how Fuck you girl is doing today?" and fuck you girl is Me!!! LOL!!!! They guys were teasing me and I told them many times " Fuck you!!!" but a laughing kidding fuck you!!!

Anyway, I'm not going to be drinking for a while that's for sure... It was a fun evening!!!!

Your thoughts on your cuddly cat made me think of the Margaret Wise Brown story, "When the Wind Blew." This was her first published book. It was about a lady who has many cats to care for who gets a toothache one night. She needs comfort, so the smallest cat climbs up and rests against her sore cheek to ease the pain. How are companions know us!

Great post. I hope breakfast was good!

Sandy,

seems like a beautiful story that she wrote...I love my cuddly cat, he's my partner in celibacy!!! Je really knows me....

Breakfast was good, I was freaking hungry, so were the rest of my pals.... We had a nice time, as always...

I hope you have a great evening and a good week!!! :)

you sound like oyu had an awesome night!!!!

I laughed out loud at "Mr. Cat's" thoughts.

Good luck at your new job. How different from a church to a huge multinational corp.

Yeah, I was laughing Out Loud when I posted his thoughts!!!

It is different from a catholic church but dealing with humans is always the same. I'm not working for a BIG multinational (and worldwide) corporation and I love, Love it!!!!

My heart is still at the Parish, as a volunteer I'll do it!!! That's the best I can do!!!

And yeah, the evening was awesome, I'm thankful to have these great guys in my life!!!! I love, love them all...

See ya around and I know you've got a new job too!!!!
