There's a show on the life channel here called "À deux c'est mieux", a psychologist specialized in couples does intervention with real life people.
I guess I'm stuck up because there is no way in hell I would ever go on television to talk about my marriage problem or in this specific case, my sexual issues.
What the fuck? The guy goes on TV because his sex life sucks because he's a 2 minute man, she won't make the first move! Hello???.....
This is television, what the hell are you doing discussing these intimate issues on television? I would never do such a thing. I'm all for therapy, help, discussing issues, just NOT on television. They are discussing these intimate things on freaking.
I'm just shocked, why are people like that? I know we're in 2007 , still, this exhibitionist mentality shocks me. Why is it okay for people, anyone to just not keep anything private? I'm a *TMI* girl, just with the right person. I believe boundaries, intimacy and privacy are important... Oh and just so you know, I don't need to know when watching a *regular* channel at 18h30 who ejaculates in a matter of second and who doesn't. I don't want to know these *TMI* details about freaking strangers. Eww!!!
I'm very open minded, I'm someone who shares, discuss issues. I don't hide in the sand but it puzzles me to see this mentality of putting for everyone to see the details of your privacy, intimacy is just unbelievably weird... Boundaries guys, boundaries!!!
They weren't speaking generally, they were on television discussing their sexual intimacy as a couple. I'm sure it's gonna help to put it where everyone will know. Make a lot of sense!
Would you go on television to discuss your sexual problems? Your marriage trouble? I wouldn't... Am I stuck up? Do you think it's a healthy thing to go on TV to discuss that type of issues? I'm puzzled by the television because in real life, I wouldn't mind discussing private stuff, to the right person but I'm just close to the mentality of showing everything on TV.
Let's discuss this, shall we?

I don't think such a show belongs on tv. I know I'm the very conservative Catholic girl who married her altar boy, but seriously? That's not appropriate.
very disturbing indeed. there are just some things that are better left unsaid. in this case, SHOULD be left unsaid, to the whole world anyway. way too much information.
Never. Not enough money in the world. I was offered $20,000 to be on Wife Swap earlier this year and couldn't picture the person who would welcome that kind of publicity.
You guys are making me feel more normal. I'm happy not to be alone. Jeez...
I just can't see any sane persom wanting the spotlight on part of their life like this...
yup, it's crazy for people to discuss specifics of their sexual issues on tv. what's the whole point? will it solve their problems any faster?
I agree--I'd never discuss my sexual issues on television, nor would I watch a show like that. Urggh. I guess I think people who are willing to talk about those things in public are those who are more interested in publicity than in healing. Just my opinion, of course.
I don't discuss my private life with anyone other than the people involved. Seems stupid to do otherwise. :)
A whole world of no. Never. No freakin' way.
Oh you crazy, horny Canadiens, now you have the sexy stuff on early in the evening? It's usually that one channel that we need to block from my boys late at night in Nova Scotia....
But I digress, I so agree and how embarrassing. B/c just imagine being that couple and going out to the mall.
"Oh, look Momsy, there's Joe Blow and his wife Suzy, aren't they the ones with the sex problems?"
I agree with you, give me a home and garden fix up show anytime.
Faith: I agree, that's more about bringing the spotlight onto them instead of working on issues...
Claudia: I toyally agree. That's like the dumba$$ who think bring a third person in their couple (bed) will solve their issues. Hello!!! Bringing someone else in your bed is not gonna solve anything. It's gonna create more drama.
Izzybella: yup, I toyally agree!!!
Jenny: Yeah, on life channel so early at night... I can't believe I watched it... I was beside myself!!!
Look mom, isn't that Joe Blow with his wife "I don't make the first move?" ? Isn't he the one who ejaculates prematurely? Isn't he the one who says "I want her to have her fun"...
If they were co-workers, i'd be shooking my head with disgust. There's a place for everything and this isn't the place...
Gee, I wonder why people are soo insane... There's no freaking boudaries, limits, everything's acceptable to put on the spotlight...
i don't think i would ever go on tv as myself, period. i'm not shocked by the content of that show though. there is so much reality tv out there and people are obviously more than willing to be filmed and make a spectacle of themselves in public.
some people will do anything for a modicum of fame.
yup Jeraha, I tottally agree on this...
Not unlike those brain-dead morons on the Springer show. Pay them a hundred bucks a bucket-head, and they'll tell you not only their incestuous heritage, but also their physical shortcomings, twisted fetishes, and pedophilia-obsessed cravings.
