Don't know how to title this???

I have absolutely no creativity left at 22h00 the day after getting wasted!!!

I'm taking some pictures from yesterday to the job to hang on my wall. None of them incriminating!!!! The girls in my office have pictures of their friend and family, I'll have mine too, I need to print one of Mr.Cat and put it in a frame, ya know, he's my antisocial kid! I printed something like 40 of them at Costco, they'll be kept as memories from this nice dinner and as a reminder that when I drink, I totally give out Too Much Information (TMI)... nope I ain't gonna reveal anything I may or may not have said

Just so you guys know, I'm totally not going to get drunk at my Christmas party with the job!!! No way in hell!!! I'm going to be the nice, quiet and funny girl who's gonna remember every details of her party... I don't get drunk when I'm not with people I totally trust because I'd be way too vulnerable and if you knew me, you'd know I'm a control freak I always try to be in control of my life and not being at the anyone's mercy.

Well, I mean that I let myself be vulnerable when there's real trust that's when I let go of the barriers. I'm a very happy-go-lucky type of person BUT I only open my heart and soul to those I trust and I'm very selective. Whatever, it's a privilege to be on my list!!!

What type of person are you? Do you trust easily? Do we know anyone who likes to be at the mercy of freaking everybody? I don't think it would be a sane thing... But I'm not a freaking shrink, I only say it as I see it! My 2 cents worth!!!!

Everything's ready for my week, I am very excited to start the 2nd week there, I love challenges and I'm a fighter... I've got one and a half more week with my trainer, she'll leaving in vacation next Thursday and I've got to be able to take the lead and you know what? I'll take it... There's no worries or doubts or insecurities in regards to this... Fuck, I'm confident eh?

Tales from the girl who got drunk last night...

And we can say that I was really drunk. My friends got together to celebrate the end of my contract at The Parish and my new job at Big Multinational Company. Soo many people that I love were there, you know when the best of the best get together? The dinner and party was at TFB and SW's house who btw wasn't trashed by drunk girl. except the speaker I kicked by accident downstairs who also bumped the freaking wall

We ate fondue with lots of side dish, drank good beer, wine and Porto... The evening was amazing and I was very happy. We laughed our ass off, talked about my blog and the things I would say or not say today. We commented on people's nickname. The Tall Friend doesn't think his nickname is original, I could have put more thoughts in finding one. TFB was hysterical when I told him how I had named "Annoying Liturgy Lady".... I was like "What, don't ya think the name fits her?"

I'm very happy about the party, our hostess is the best... Gosh, I love these people...

On another note, let it be known that Mr.Cat didn't sleep with me last night...I got up at 6h20 ish, the walls were kinda spinning... I realise I was naked, I got to the bathroom, washed my face because I was still wearing makeup, brushed my teeth, got stuff out of the bed and started to call Mr.Cat "where the hell are you Mr.Cat??? Aren't you going to sleep with mommy?" I could hear him think "if you think I'm gonna sleep with you when yer drunk and naked, forget it"

Anyway, he eventually came and cuddled, we slept until 9h20 ish... I made coffee, put jammies on (before making coffee) , called TFB to let him know I was alive and well... Told him he now knows the reason why I don't go to bars to party, it's because I'm such a happy drunk and I'm lovey and would end up waking up with some strange dude the next day not that I've ever done it ....

Anyway, I got a beautiful card, a frame with an amazing text from Passionate One ( she's an amazing writer) and they bought me a router. But the best thing in my eyes was to be with them, have fun with them and have them in my life. That's the gift, having amazing people in our life is what makes the difference don't you think?

TFB, SW, their daughter and I are going for late breakfast around noon. They'll be picking me up... But luckily, I'm not drunk this morning!!!!

An update on me....

Saturday morning, 11 am... I'm sitting in my living room with a coffee and my MacBook, I'm thinking of my first week at Big Multinational Company....

I love the job, I've had a very good week. I've learned a lot, I have learned so much. The computing system is new for me, the terminology for this specific industry. The codes, everything, it is all new but I know I'm learning fast. I know because my co-workers told me this week how amazing it was that after 3 days I was able to enter PO's in the computer and function pretty well in this new "world", they told me I was catching on everything they were explaining, remembering names, codes, functions, etc. I know this doesn't sound very humble but I am intelligent and willing to do whatever is needed to perform and be professional.

I was asked by Jehara why do I need to wear safety apparel to get to my office, it was intriguing for her. here's my answer:

BMC's installation are industrial first and foremost. Then you have the executive and executive employee that deal with clients, customer services, planners, directors, and all that jazz...

The plant is HUGE, the way my office is situated makes that I have to cross the whole plant to get to our offices. (does it make sense???)

I have to wear security apparel because an industrial plant is something with safety norms. To wear the appropriate apparels keeps the employee safe. :) I wear steel toes shoes (have to wear them all day), protective glasses (when in the plant part, not in the offices) and in some part of the plant, ear plugs...

Last night, The Passionnate One (TPO), her sister and I went to a show and had a couple of drinks, laughed and really it was a fun evening.... Tonight, some friends have organised a dinner in my honor to celebrate the new job and a goodbye party for The Parish. I can't tell you more because I don't know more. I only know TFB, SW and TPO are in charge, don't know anything else (which is fine). I'll be picked up at 18h00!!!!

I'm gonna be cooking and cleaning this afternoon because tomorrow I'm going for breakfast with TFB and SW and going to Costco in the afternoon!!!! I'm in a very good mood and happy to be relaxing and enjoying a cool saturday!!!!

Overheard after the PAC meeting tonight... We were having coffee and wine after the meeting, Older dude and former politician decide to leave. We all say goodbye... The get back 30 seconds later telling us the door's locked. I take TFB's keys and offer to unlock it. I get to the door:

Older Dude: Aren't you scared to be alone with us?

Me: Nah, why would I be???

OD: I told former Politician I would push you on the wall (then he tries to push me gently, jokingly done, cornering me)

ME: I'm warning you, having your ass kicked by someone who wears steel toe shoes will be painful...

Former Politician cracks up and laughs his ass off Older Dude wasn't laughing...

Honest to God dude, don't piss off a woman on her period. It's dangerous!!!!

My job is well, 3rd day was great, I learned so much that my brain is fried. The girl who's training me said I was impressive. I try to be, I try to be.... I love it, tomorrow is going to be the big visit of Big Multinational Company's installation!!! My boss's taking me and my trainer.

I've got a meeting of The Parish Anniversary Committee tonight, the last meeting!!! It's about damn time!

13 things about my new job!!!

1. I work Monday through Friday, 8h00- 17h00.

2. I needed safety apparel, glasses, shoes or boots with steel toe. I was able to pick up the shoes Tuesday because my boss let me leave early to get them at the speciality store.

3. We are 3 gals in our specific department but are a member of a bigger one. 3 girls in 1 big office.

4. Many of the guys working in the executives team are cute... altho, not all of them singles...

5. I'm part of the executive team at Big Multinational Company, and I'm totally being that, there.

6. They told me I was impressive today (because I'm smart I understand fast )

7. I'm going to be on training for about 2 and a half, 3 weeks.

8. I like my boss, he's someone you feel you can trust right away.

9. The girl doing my training is knowledgeable and we get along well.

10. I received a shirt of Big Multinational Company and a lunch box on Monday.

11. I saw the company's doctor today and it went well.

12. I love the job, I love how it feels, the relationship between the other executives are great, they are good to each others and I already feel part of them.

13. I'm going to visit the whole building tomorrow, the whole installation with my security apparel, with my boss and trainer.

Can you tell how happy I am???

I would have stories to tell

But I don't want to do it because I don't want to reveal anything related to the industry I'm working for. For confidential reasons... But my day was very very good, I love the person training me, she's great and I wanna go in the morning because I feel happy there...

So instead I'll tell you a parish story from tonight.

We were all taking down the exhibit this evening... The Friendly Boss, Sweet Wife, Administrative Friend (husband of Cute Friend), The Tall Friend and his wife ( my adorable friend) and 3 other members of the church council.

I totally dropped a statue of an angel and broke it's wings and neck. It didn't have an historical value but for fuck's sake, I wasn't happy at all. Someone will fix it but i wish it didn't happen...anyway...

Overheard at The Church while going downstairs...TFB and I were carrying a heavy table...

Me: Be careful, it's heavy, we should check each other's hole...(referring to the hole on each side of us, the table holes not our assholes)

TFB: hysterically laughs his ass off and the guys around are just laughing at me...

You can bet your ass that they told me the rest of the evening, "I'm checking your hole eh! " " Are you checking mine?" "Girl, ya can't see my hole!!!"

I was just rolling my eyes at them and laughing.... These guys and girl are he bestest!!! I love each of them with my whole heart, they are all adorable and sweetheart and generous, kind, I love them.

SW, if you knew her, you just just love her too... She's a real mommy, a beautiful woman, with a BIG heart, a beautiful soul. I mean that she is a friend and a mommy to me and I love that... She takes care of those around her, she cares, loves, protect, she is caring.

So we, as a team finished everything and it was fast. Thanks guys, I love love you!!!!!

First day of work

Well, the day was great, long but great. I say long because of the many new things, because of meeting many new people seeing everything but great because of the challenge because the job is interesting. I work Monday-Friday from 8h00 to 17h00 with an hour lunch break.

I love Big Multinational Company's organisation, I loved visiting the place, will have to do the official tour tomorrow I think. (it was a matter of wearing appropriate safety apparel and my boss's availability and also the fact that you can't do everything the first day)

The job's going to be a real challenge, interesting. I've got lots to learn but I'm smart so it'll be alright. The industry BMC is a part of, is unknown to me but I've learned already a lot in a day. In couple of months, it won't have secrets for me.

My close co-workers are nice, sweet and funny. I'm exhausted, I mean drained but the first day can be that way eh? Tomorrow, another day, I'll be meeting the company's doctor for a routine checkup.

I don't know what to say other than it went well, I'm very happy and I'm happy to be working there. But I'm soo going to be sleeping soon.

sunday tale and story

Well awesome day at The Church, many many visitors. We close around 16h15, packed up everything because season is over and took everything to the office. We then went to see the cruise ship from the pier and the park, walked a bit. Sweet Wife (SW) invited me for dinner ( it was very very yummy), we then watched TV all evening, chatted, relaxed, laughed. I left around 22h30.

The Friendly Boss (TFB) and I were "Crazy Guy" and "Crazy Gal" today. We laughed our ass off, all fucking day. The man's funny, I'm telling you. I must have said a million time to him today.

(Looking at TFB's bruise on the forehead)

What happened to your forehead?

Whatever, I bumped in the freezer's door...

The what?

(Pointing at his bruise) The what?

(rolls his eyes at me and laughs)

Anyway, it was a great day, "Crazy Guy and Crazy Gal".... SW laughed at us and thought we were cute but silly. Anyway, the day was beautiful, we had a great time and the evening was just perfect.

Tomorrow: first day at Big Multinational Company!!!! I'll update in the evening!!!!

What's up with that?

There's nothing on TV, there was nothing on TV last night, what's up with that? I was totally pissed off last night because there was nothing.on.television.

I'm reading Hannibal rising from Thomas Harris. Not too bad but fucked up. er, I know it's the story of a serial killer and a crazy bastard, what did I expect? Just not this. My crazy neighbour's music is driving me insane. I need to refrain from blogging about her because if she found out, she would beat the crap out of me I'm sure. The girl's insane...

Hmm, I remember one thing on TV last night, very late, after midnight. I watched Oprah, it was about mistress and married man that cheat on their wives. That was good, I mean compare to the rest of the evening. Anyone else bored? I should have rented a movie, I should have had.

Anyway, can't wait to see my pals tomorrow.
