I use to believe this 100% "I should be in control of everything that is important in my life."

Unfortunately you are powerless to control most people, places, and things in your life since you can only be fully in control of your internal locus of control and your own thoughts, emotions, and actions.

I now understand and accept this: My Internal Locus of Control:

Internal locus of control is giving yourself the power to influence your feelings about yourself.

Internal locus of control places self-approval, self-recognition, self-acceptance, self-reinforcement, and self-affirmation of worth into your own hands. In this way it is only up to you and your own efforts at self-love and care to feel worthwhile, valuable, competent, skillful, creative, knowledgeable, and capable of living your life for yourself and not controlled by others. You are then fully responsible for your own thinking, emotions, and actions in life.

Are you good at letting go? Are you able to let go when you are preoccupied? Letting go and doing 100% of what we can do is the key IMO... I remind myself daily to "Let go and Let God" mrgreen Letting go is accepting that I can't control everything... and it is true... It's not always a fun realisation but it's freaking life!!!! I control only what is really up to me. Do my best in everything, while remember what I can and what I can't do. What's on my shoulder and what shouldn't be... mrgreen

Good God guys? Are you following me? Comments, insults, questions!!!! confused
